I love the looks of this watch. closest thing to the Rolex model 16613 you can find for 50 times less!!! However, the band adjustment is a nightmare! I realy feel betrayed and shafted by Invicta and I will probably not buy another.

The main problem? the screws (Or pushpins) on the band links are so incredibly small that you can’t adjust them your self. You have to send it in to be adjusted. $20 shipping fee (ABSOLUTLY ABSERD!) $10 to do the adjustment, and another $20 plus to ship it back? Very disappointing Invicta!! I’m going to try to find a local jeweler to do the adjustmnet for much less. Untill then I’m Sticking to my Croton which I was able to adjust myself for, Ready for this Invicta? FREE!

In conclusion it seems like a good watch but I feel absolutely taken on this one. Buy the Croton instead based on the much easier band adjusment alone.

  2. Buyer be wear of this product. I order this product because of the styling and price. I received the first product broken in the box, and Amazon. com sent me a new one which stopped working after 5 minutes. I follow winding instruction and it still did not work. I was very disappointed in this product also. Amazon. com had help me by refunding my money, but the product manufacture offer this customer nothing. Good luck if you purchase this product. AC

  3. watch is smalled than it looks and advertized

the power reserve is also very small (only 4 or 5 hours after a day and a half of wearing it, including night in special mechanical mover)

i will never buy cheap stuff from these folks again! the swiss quartz is decent, even the japan quartz is ok, but the automatics are simply HORRIBLE!

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“YANKEE STATION” AND KEPT TICKING ACCURATELY ALONG. THEY WERE TRADED IN ALONG WITH AN OMEGA SEAMASTER FOR THE ROLEX SUBMARINER.
FOR THE MONEY-INVICTAS ARE “BRAVO ZULU” ( “WELL – DONE” )FOR DAILY PEACE-TIME USE. FOR NEAR COMPLETE RELIABLITY IN HOSTILE SITUATIONS GO FOR THE ROLEX, OMEGA, BREITLING, OR THE BEST SEIKO AUTOMATIC WITH “HACK” FEATURE THAT YOU CAN AFFORD, YOUR LIFE MAY DEPEND UPON ITS ACCURACY, AND RUGGEDNESS. I AM PURCHASING ANOTHER FAUX ROLEX-INVICTA AND DEEP-SIXING THE ONE WITH A “CROWN DEPARTURE. ” “HANDSOME” HANSON
